Hey friends, After so many posts on tutorials I think its time to have some fun post. Alright then, So in this post I will be sharing with you guys some of the best funny google tricks that you can have fun with. I know you may find these tricks all over the internet but what I have done is just collected all tricks and will be presenting in a single post so that you may not have to open up many different sites. I'm not adding snaps for each trick as it may ruin the fun of trying.

So, lets have some fun with these :)

Askew

When you type Askew or Tilt on google, it tilts the search results page.

Recursion

When you type this word on search, you will asked again that "did you mean RECURSION". Check out HERE

Do A Barrel Roll

When you search for this keyword, the page will start rotating in Clockwise Direction. Click HERE

Google Space

Type this and see everything floating. Check here

Google Sphere

This may not work for some, however you can Check out Here

Google Heart

This one is quite lovely and mathematical. I just laughed when I saw this at first. To see a heart you need to search the given calculations on google search. It will do calculations and bring you a graph plotted in heart shape.
Here's the code below, do some changes and check the results.
(sqrt(cos(x))*cos(400*x)+sqrt (abs(x))-0.4)*(4-x*x)^0.01

Zerg Rush

This is a game which is quite interesting. When you type Zerg Rush on google, aliens zergs start coming to your result in the shape of '0'. All you have to do is just kill those and get as many points as you can. You can also share your points on G+.

Binary

Type "Binary" on google search and check out. It will show the number of results as "About 0b1000101000010011010000 results". Quite odd.

Atari Breakout

This one is really interesting and not known by many people. For this just type Atari Breakout on Google search and then click Image results. A game will start automatically.

Gravity

This trick is one of the oldest and known by almost every individual who uses google. Just type Google Gravity and see what happens.

One Does Not Walk into Mordor

This one is specially for Lord Of The Rings fans. For this just go to google maps and search as follows

From= The Shire
To= Mordor

Check out the results by yourself or just click here

There are many other tricks but those are usually other sites with altered scripts of google while the above mentioned are only google tricks. Share this trick with others and comment below your favorite trick or any other new trick you've found.

Risky SEO Tricks: Is It Worth It ?

Risky SEO Tricks: Is It Worth It ?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is all about making your website more search engine friendly. This means abiding by the rules of the search engines and taking into account the guidelines they give out too, not that they are very forthcoming with most of their guidelines. This article deals with Google, since it is the biggest and most popular search engine of all time.

Risky SEO: Is it worth it ?
A risk means there is something to lose

If you are taking part in risky SEO then you are taking a risk, and that means there is something to lose. If there is nothing to lose then it is just called, “doing stuff.” If you are going to take the risk then consider all the things you have to lose. Even if you having trouble figuring out what all the Google punishments will be if you fail, just remember what you have to lose, in which case you will have more idea of if what you are about to do is a good idea.

What if you have nothing to lose?

Risky SEO: Is it worth it ?If you are in this position then you may be thinking you have nothing to lose because it is a new hosting account, new website, new domain and a new idea. There may not be a business behind the website, in which case you may consider the fact that you have very little to lose. But, if you are going to start risky SEO and you have all of these things (and do not have a business behind your website that you may lose), then you are going to need a few other things. You are going to need to hide your information from the world with something such as VPS and cloaking accounts that hackers use. You are also going to need email addresses that you can burn if the poop hits the proverbial fan.

How long can such tricks work?

Fake and villainous SEO companies make their living by how long they can partake of risky SEO, and it really depends. Some people start out with a bit of risky SEO and have their website sandboxed by the end of the week, and yet others are able to pull it off for months, especially if the SEO trick is spinning content.

As a rule of thumb, the longest it takes Google to figure something out is about two months, and that is going on the fact that it can take as long as 2 months for them to read your xml sitemap (that is all that the 2 months figure is based on).

Weighing up the potential gain against potential loss

Let’s say that you are not in the position mentioned earlier where you have nothing to lose. Let’s say you do have something to lose. You have to weigh up what you may lose with what you will gain. If you run a business, then you could lose the ability to post a website for that business that runs on the Google search engine. That is only for a small while, as you could start up with a new IP address, host and domain name, but how is that going to affect your credibility? It is up to you to weigh up the pros and cons of your risk.

If you read it then you are not the first to try it

The fact that people do not know this is pitiful. There are no secrets online. If you have read something online then you are not the only one to find it locked away in a remote part of the Internet. If you have read it then so have others, which means it is not a secret and Google are probably already on it to try and stop it.

Is it not just SEO as oppose to a trick?

Some people call regular SEO a trick. The fact is that SEO has a lot of factors because Google are supposed to measure over 200 factors. Even if there were only three tips per factor then you are looking at around 600 SEO tips. So, are you sure what you are about to do is actually risky?

Where did you find this so called “trick”?

Risky SEO: Is it worth it ?The credibility of the place you found it should be part of your decision making process. If you found it on a website that ranked 120,000 on the search engine results, then maybe they don’t know too much about search engine optimization. Check your source and get further advice before taking SEO risks.

How To Check Google Keyword Ranking Of Any Post

Hi friends, Well these days I’m really having some big problems but I still managed to get some blogging time. I’ve seen many people posting their posts ranks on google by just taking a snap of the search they performed on Google, but those rankings are not always same for others.

How To Check Google Keyword Ranking Of Any Post

If you are logged into google and perform a search for your post then it is most likely to show better ranking than in reality.

So in this post I will be sharing a method to find your post ranking on google on any keyword. Besides this you can also check your competitors ranking alongside yours.

All you have to do is just go to Moonsy Keyword Rank Checker. Enter your domain name and keyword you want to check the rank for. Click the Check Keyword Rank button and bingo that’s your rank. The rank shown by Moonsy is the real one and you can proudly share the snap of the results. J

There are many other tools provided by Moonsy, have a try at all of them. I personally prefer this site for checking my post ranks on different keywords. Its really fast and you can get an idea of your competitor too. :)

Note : You can also add your competitor domain to check his rank for the keyword along with your rank.

Note: Moonsy searches Top 100 results only, so if your rank isn’t shown on any particular keyword it means your rank is very low and you should consider focusing on any other keyword.

Ther are many sites providing this service freely as well as on payment basis. I found this one easy and simple specially for newbies. You can however go for other sites for checking your ranks.
I hope you all liked the tip/tutorial to check your posts rank. Share this post with other bloggers too.

Google Removes Authorship Images and Circle Counts From Search Results

Hi guys, today I'm here to make you aware of a major update carried out by Google. Google Finally removed authorship images and circle counts from search results.

Google Removes Authorship Images and Circle Counts From Search Results

Google's John Mueller already announced it on 26th June that they will be dropping this feature from the search results. Here is the post by John.

How does it look Now ?

New look of Google Search Results showing only author name.

Google Removes Authorship Images and Circle Counts From Search Results

So what do you guys feel about it ?

Google Structured Data Testing Tool have also been updated now, and it now shows only the Author name linked with Google+ Profile.

Now what's next

Well this is the question that will be arising in the minds of many authors who had their aurthorship images and Circle counts in Searh results. While the others who still weren't able to get authorship seems to be quite satisfied with it.

What now !!!

It was seen that user's preffered to click more of those links that had author pics on it as it looked quite genuine and trust worthy. But what now!! The answer will be quite clear after doing a good study of our analytic reports.

It's clear that this will affect search traffic dramatically, Ranking may not be affected but yes user behavior towards search and their clicks will change.

Changes I need to do

Well I've seen many WordPress users having authorship plugins installed into their blogs, so Since the authorship chapter is now over I recommend you to remove those plugins as they are useless now and are just increasing your page size and load.

A search extract from WP. It cleary shows that there are 100s of such plugins and if you do some research every 5 blogger on WP is using one such plugin

Authoship Chapter is Not Completely Closed

Yes its True!!!

Yes, according to this article from Google Supportyour name will be still shown in Google results and there will a small image of your's shown if you are featured in Google News.

What Are your Views ?

Minutes after Google announced it, Webmasters from all over the globe are sharing their views on different forums. Some find it as a great step by google and agree to John Mueller words that it may improve mobile experience while many top bloggers are arguing against it.

I feel that this is a great step by Google which will help all the authors equally in search results.

Simple Tweak To Reduce Bounce Rate by Over 50%

Hi everybody, so what am I upto today ?? Well today I will sharing a simple tweak by which you can lower your Bounce Rate upto 70%. But before reaching there I will be sharing some simple methods to improve your bounce rate and a cool infographic from one of my favourite blogs followed by the secret tweak.

Simple Tweak To Reduce Bounce Rate by Over 50%
Simple Tweak To Reduce Bounce Rate by Over 50%

What is Bounce Rate ?

There are a lot of bloggers who are still not clear about what Bounce rate actually is, so let me tell you. "Bounce rate is Percentage of visitors who arrives on your blog/website and closes it without opeing any other page." or in Google's words it is "The % of single page sessions on your site."

So it's quite understandable that a lower bounce rate is not good for us. A bounce rate below 50% is very much acceptable and you don't have to worry about it but if you have a bounce rate above 50% then you must carry on with this post and apply the simple adjustement given below.

Common Methods to Decrease Bounce Rate (BR)

 • Avoid PopUps: Popups are very annonying to many visitors and they close your site once they get a popup message from your blog.
 • Internal Linking: It is indeed a great way to encourage your readers to open further links and ultimately lower your BR. Try to do interlink atleast 3 of your links in every post.
 • Responsive Theme/Template: Use responsive templates that works well on all platforms and resolutions.

 • Use Related Posts Widget/Plugin: Use such widgets to further encourage your readers to read more of your posts. We use LinkWithin blogger widget in our blogs

 • Write Short Paragraphs: We are not saying to write less number of words but yes do write small paragraphs as many a times viewers feel lazy after seeing a long para and thus leave your blog which again lowers your BR.

 • Improve Loading Time: This again is an important factor responsible for your high bounce rates. Increase your page load time by removing unnecessary third party widgets or plugins.

 • Color and Font properties: Improve your site's look by using attractive colors that would not look dizzy. Change your font size and style such that your content looks more readable and attractive. You can change your blogger font properties using this method.

 • Search Box: Offer a search box to your readers that will again help them to find more content on your blog.

 • Relevant Content: Always post relevant content on your blog. Off-topic posts will easily lead to increase in bounce rate.

 • Show Popular posts: Make use of your sidebar effectively by showing a list of popular posts from your blog, research shows that every blog visitors looks for the most popular posts of a blog.

Still not satisfied !!! reader satisfaction is our main aim, I have embedded an infographic from QuickSprout which will surely help you further in improving your bounce rate.

There is a special tweak for you that will lower your BR by 70% after this infographic.

How to Decrease Your Bounce Rate

Tweak to Lower Bounce Rate upto 60%

Let me tell you that this tweak was released by an Analytics insights team member officially so there is nothing to be afraid of.

How does it Actually works ?

Before trying anything related to codes it's very important to know what will be the code doing. So let me explain you in short.

Do you feel that the system or algorithm of Bounce rate is somewhat unfair ? I mean if someone is looking for a particular thing on google and he finds your post, read it and solve his problem, then its quite natural that he will close your blog coz his work/problem etc is solved. But What !!! Google will count it as a Bounce and add it to your Bounce Rate.

What should actually be the criteria for Bounce Calculation according to me ?

Well Its simple, I would like to consider a visit as a bounce only if the visitor closes the site after some period of time say 10 seconds or so, that would mean that the visitor doesn't like your content or he fails to find what he was looking for. Don't you think it will be fair ?? I would appreciate comments on this issue.

So this trick/tweak does the same, it will make the visit a bounce only if your site get closed within 10 seconds (you can easily change the time as per your wish). One more thing this code does is, it will discard the visit as bounce once a viewer scrolls the page.

Google's team and others call it as "Adjusted Bounce Rate"

How to implement it on YOUR BLOG ?

This is how the original analytics code looks like:

1. Replace the above code with this code or the one given below

2. Or replace it with this code

CODE 1: It will count a visit as a bounce only if the site is closed under 10 seconds. It will disregard a visit as a bounce if the user scrolls the page. It means if the visitor scrolls your post but closes it under 10 seconds it will still NOT be treated as Bounce

CODE 2: This code will behave as the above code but without the scroll option.

Just Replace the XXXXXX with your analytics ID and save the changes. Our code will count the visits as bounce only if the visitor closes the site under 10 seconds. You can change the time as well by changing the value of "10000" to your required choice.

Note: 1000 = 1 Second

We recommend to set it at 15 seconds.

Final Words

I have tried these codes on my own blog and the results I've got are really amazing. My blog's bounce rate came from 65% to 20% just after implementing the code. I would recommend you all to try the code and share the results with me.

So the changes to my bounce rate can be seen clearly, You can see a huge drop in the second pic, it was due to the fact I changed the time from 15 to 10 seconds. I got a bounce rate of 4.26% on that day.

So it's upto you How you use the code, but one thing is sure after reading this post and trying the tips and methods your bounce rate will drop surely.
